Last Market of the Year

Tomorrow is our last market day for this season!

We will be there, even if it is snowing or raining as the weather forecast has indicated.  Today was a challenging harvest with the 43 degree weather and intermittent rain.  It is hard to move your hands when it is that cold out!  We will have salad mix, tons of different greens, salad turnips, radishes, scallions, spinach, head lettuce, herbs, some tomatoes, beets, peppers, carrots, eggplant, and lots of ginger.  Hope to see you there!

Many thanks to our wonderful customers, friends, and family… we could not continue farming without your enthusiasm and support!  We are looking forward to next season already!  While we hope to continue selling beyond the market season next year, this year we are shutting down for the winter.  We have many building projects awaiting our attention: two greenhouses to finish, a shed to build, more land to prep… Gavin has high hopes for all that he will accomplish… but building ALWAYS takes longer than expected!  Hopefully there will also be time for some much needed rejuvenation, resting, and reading.  And lots of crop planning, seed catalogue viewing, and dreaming.  Maybe a blog post here and there.
