Several inches of snow fell here in central Virginia last weekend.

We took a walk around the farm enjoying the quiet beauty.

Gavin was working on the front porch decking.

He finished up the front porch this weekend, and here is cutting the last piece of plywood which seals the insulated cavity under the yurt.

The front porch is identical to the back porch, except a little closer to the ground.  It will have the same galvanized metal walls, but we ran out of material and have yet to order more.  We would like to keep it open for light and views, but protecting the porch from rain is more important since we have plenty to store there.
